Welcome to the decorating department of Garry’s Mélange, where it’s Christmas throughout the whole year. I’m your host, Garry, and I’ll bet you thought ‘Decking the Halls with Boughs of Holly’ was just a classic Christmas tune.
My job is to enhance your next special event by bringing lots of color, texture and excitement to your space, and I’m not just talking Feng Shui.

I remember the parties growing up as a kid, with all the cake and ice cream you could eat. My mom would hang lots of balloons - red, green, blue, yellow, orange and purple, every color imaginable, with tails of curly ribbon hanging from each one. Streamers were draped from every corner of the room and we’d all play ‘pin the tail on the donkey’. I laugh now, because I always wondered how she got those steamers to have that twirled-around look. These days, simple latex balloons are just the beginning. Now there’s Mylar, and it’s possible to have giant flying creatures.
